Professionally Built Using The Latest Technology

Our units are computer designed to ensure precision. All components are cut on a CNC Flatbed Router which cuts to tolerances of 0.05 mm (2 thou). Therefore every cut, rout and screwhole is exactly where it belongs.

The majority of the unit is constructed out of structural plywood. To meets standard the plywood is "boil tested" for 72 hours. If after 3 straight days in a vat of boiling water, if it delaminates or swells it is rejected. So you can be sure that rain or the odd dunk in a river will not harm it.

The beauty of plywood is that, at a given weight, it is stonger than steel. Accordingly our units are around half the weight (and price) of comparable steel units. The other anvantage of wood is that it has natural flex so it moves with your car's body/chassis twist in rough terrain.

The Drawers run on 3mm Galvanised Steel Angle Rails running through a series of vertical and lateral roller bearings. The roller bearings are fully sealed stainless steel and maintenance free. Any decent quality drawer unit must run on bearings to ensure that drawers run freely when loaded.

The verical bearings bolt through the 18mm ply upright and are strengthened with a 3mm aluminium plate either side. As you can see in the photos we use nyloc nuts to ensure the never come loose.

All joins are routed (recessed), glued and screwed to ensure strength. We use only the best quality "cross linking" PVA glue to ensure life long strength.
